Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.Shift Differentials2nd Shift: $1.75/hourWeekend: $1.75/hourSign-On Bonus Eligible!$1,600 Sign On Bonus with a 1-year work commitment.Must be of legal age to sign a contract, which is at least 18 years old, to be eligible for a sign on bonus. Candidates under 18 years old may still be considered for the position but are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.OverviewUNIT OVERVIEW: Welcome to Adult Medical Specialty Unit! AMSU is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Forest Park building. We have 2 units that function independently but we are one department. We serve the adult med-surg patient population. Our patients have a variety of diagnosis that offers a broad range of clinical experiences in a fast-paced and challenging environment.POSITION SUMMARY:The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed.
