Your attentiveness could make the difference between a good day and a great one for our clients living with autism spectrum disorders, Down Syndrome, and dementia.What Makes You Perfect for This Role:You notice the little things - a slight change in mood, a new behavior pattern, or when something's just "off"You bring positive energy that lights up a roomYou're the kind of person who remembers how each client takes their teaYou treat each individual with the dignity and respect they deserveSchedule Your Success:Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AMSaturday and Sunday - 4 pm-12 am, 12 am-12 pm, 12 pm-12 am(Consistent evening schedule - no rotating shifts!)Essential Experience & Requirements:Two years verified care provider experience requiredExperience with intellectual disabilities is essentialHome health experience is highly valuedPhysical capability to lift 60 lbsTech-savvy enough to type 35+ WPM and handle various care management systemsReliable transportation (Marta L-van transportation duties included)DBHDD fingerprint clearance requiredYour Daily Impact Will Include:Being the watchful eye that keeps our clients safe and thrivingProviding compassionate personal care (bathing, meal prep, medication reminders)Managing detailed documentation with precisionMaintaining a spotless, infection-controlled environmentCoordinating and accompanying clients to medical appointmentsImplementing personalized service plansPromoting independence while providing necessary supportWorking both independently and collaboratively with our care teamPerforming light housekeeping dutiesRequired Training & Certifications:40 hours total training (20 hours before client care, 20 hours within first 6 months)Annual 8-hour in-service training including:CPR/First AidInfection ControlBody MechanicsNutritionCPI TrainingDefensive DrivingMANDATORY APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:To be considered for this position, you must have ALL of the following:Two (2) years verifiable experience as a care providerProof of legal authorization to work in the United StatesHigh School Diploma or EquivalentClean Background (DBHDD fingerprint clearance required)Current CPR CertificationCurrent First Aid CardCurrent Physical (Can be obtained at local Health Department)Current TB test or Chest X-RayValid Georgia Driver's LicenseCNA certification or ability to pass PSA testSkills That Set You Apart:Natural problem-solver with strong critical thinking abilitiesClear and empathetic communicatorDetail-oriented documentation skillsAbility to build trust with clients and their familiesUnderstanding of elderly and disabled care needsJoin a team where your compassion creates change and your dedication transforms lives.
