CNA Opportunity At Healthcare Company In Bangor, MEOur client, a healthcare company, is looking for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for their Bangor, ME location.Responsibilities:The Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A) assists staff members with and contributes to the implementation of the total resident/patient plan of care which includes activities of daily living (eating, dressing, personal care, toileting), education, recreation, and transportation in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of the nursing department.The C.N.A is directly responsible to the RN/LPN team leader.The C.N.A maintains resident/patient privacy and confidentiality and performs duties in compliance with BNRC's, A Member of Covenant Health, policies and procedures.Requirements:Must hold an active Maine C.N.A LicenseAssists with all resident/patient routine activities of daily living including:FeedingBathingAmbulatingSkin CareDemonstrates effective listening skills to provide support for resident/patient needsAbility to take initial vital signs and provide weights to nursing staff in a timely mannerResponsible for reporting changes in vital signs or measurements promptly to the Supervisor/Charge NurseAlways follows procedures for Universal PrecautionsMonitors and promptly records resident/patient intake and output in accordance with unit standards or physician ordersMaintains confidentiality of resident/patient related issues; supports resident/patient rightsMaintains productive working relationship with healthcare team membersIs a team player, courteous, diplomatic and tactful when interacting with others.Provides additional care as directed by the RN/LPNAssist with orientation of patient/resident/family to unit, facility and services.Can deliver patient/resident care promptly and accurately as directed by the RN/LPN and in accordance with plan of careAbility to empathize with residents, patients and families.Able to remain objective in difficult circumstances including interactions with demanding residents and patientsDemonstrates flexibility when neededSeeks help and assists in developing solutions for problemsHas a passion for working with long term care residents and skilled rehabilitation patients to provide excellent resident and patient careWhy Should You Apply?Health BenefitsReferral ProgramExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
