Job description
$734.40/week -
Job Summary:
Provide compassionate and professional care to patients in a behavioral health setting, supporting recovery and well-being through medication administration, assessments, and patient engagement.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapies and medical assisted treatments.
Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and stability.
Lead groups focused on medication education and promote therapeutic activities.
Assist in admissions, discharges, and patient orientation, maintaining detailed documentation.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, psychiatrists, and counselors.
Enforce safety protocols, including restraint procedures, and respond promptly to crisis situations.
Qualifications:
Valid CNA license with at least 2 years of experience in a behavioral or residential rehab setting.
Proven ability to manage patients exhibiting low to moderate violence, with experience using restraints if necessary.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to walk campus and engage with patients in a compassionate manner.
Experience with IV treatments, medication administration, and crisis management.
Comfortable working with diverse populations, including mentally challenged and individuals with substance abuse history.
