Hospice Of Marion County Cna OpportunityHospice of Marion County, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to work with us at our Hospice House in Ocala and Summerfield while providing exceptional care.Since 1983, Hospice of Marion County has been honored to serve families across Ocala and Marion County with compassionate, expert end-of-life care. As part of Empath Health, we help neighbors with advanced illness live as comfortably and meaningfully as possible, while supporting their families and caregivers with respect, guidance, and dignity.Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6:45pm to 7:15am every Saturday and Sunday, part-time 24 hours a weekWhat You'll DoAssist patient in maintenance of good personal hygiene and promote a healthful, clean and safe environment.Prepares and serves regular and special diets as directed. One year of experience in a long term care facility strongly preferred.Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).Valid Florida State Driver's License This is only required if colleague chooses driving herself/himself as mode of transportation when reassigned to work at another facility. This is not a requirement if the colleague chooses an alternative means of transportation when reassigned to another facility based on business needs. Regardless of the mode chosen, both are at the colleague's own expense, with the exception of mileage reimbursement eligibility when traveling between facilities while on company time.Must be able to remain flexible and work at alternate facility where there is a business need for reassignment for one or more shifts at an alternative facility. When this occurs, the colleague is responsible for their own transportation to the alternate facility and at their expense.
