nThe CNA plays an integral role in helping us to achieve our vision: to consistently exceed expectations and set the standard for excellence in residential and community care.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shiftHelp Residents with personal hygieneObserve Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurseDocument Resident food and fluid intakeAssist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplementsMaking the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidyTransport Residents within the facilityAssist nurses and other staff as neededAdhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and proceduresAbide by all federal, state and local requirements and standardsMaintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data
nResponsibilities:
nnAssist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals
nHelp Residents with personal hygiene
nObserve Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
nDocument Resident food and fluid intake
nAssist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
nTransport Residents withinAssist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements the facility
n nRequirements/Qualifications:
nnHave an active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in New York State
nHave a strong comprehension of reading, writing and speaking English
nPrior experience working as a CNA a plus
nHave prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (preferred, but not required)
nExperience with SigmaCare a plus
n Education
n nEntry Level (0-2 years)
nn Experience
n nHigh School Diploma/GED
