CNA Opportunity At Village Place Health And RehabVillage Place Health and Rehab is looking for dependable, positive, and experienced CNAs to join our team in our beautifully remodeled, 104 bed skilled nursing facility.We are looking for a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to become a part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will interact directly with patients, providing comfort, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other team members.CNA ResponsibilitiesCNAs assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning, and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between mealsHelp patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos, and showersProvide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic bathsCheck vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chartAssist the nurses and other staff as neededAbility to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectivelyHigh tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool headCNA RequirementsHigh School diploma or GEDCompletion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training courseBasic computer skillsGood communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")Medical SpecialtyGeriatricsPhysical SettingLong term careShort term rehabCNA Schedule8-hour shiftEvening shiftWeekend availabilityCNA Supplemental PayOvertime payAttendance BonusThis position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Clearinghouse in compliance with Florida House Bill ).
