nResponsibilities:
nAssist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
nAccompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits
nAssisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing
nRequirements:
nValid Texas CNA license
nHigh school diploma or GED
nValid CPR Certificate
nPhysical and negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
nValid Driver’s License and auto insurance with reliable vehicle
nAdhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality
nNegative drug screen and motor vehicle background screening
nAbility to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
nMust be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
