This is an intensive, fast-paced program. Due to the short duration, no absences or tardiness are permitted.Admission RequirementsApplicants must submit a completed application, a valid photo ID, and a Social Security card. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Students must maintain a minimum 80% average to remain enrolled. One set of navy blue scrubs is required and must be purchased by the student for daily class and clinical use.Background Check RequirementsAll applicants must pass a criminal background check and be cleared through the Tennessee and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults. Individuals with felony convictions, certain misdemeanors, or those listed on the abuse registry are not eligible for admission.Employment OpportunitiesGraduates who successfully complete the program may be eligible to apply for employment immediately.
