Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing quality patient care while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.Assist with daily living activities and promote residents' independence.Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Point Click Care (PCC).Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for residents.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of long-term care experience.Proficient in using Point Click Care for charting and documentation.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.Work Schedule & ExpectationsFull-time opportunity with a shift length of 8 hours.Travelers must be flexible with scheduling, including working 2 out of 3 major holidays.Orientation is held every two weeks, with specific start dates available.RTO (Request Time Off) is not permitted prior to an offer being made.LocationThis opportunity is based in a vibrant city, offering access to a variety of attractions including waterfront activities, shopping malls, hiking trails, and winter sports.Additional InformationPublic transportation options are available including Uber, Taxi, and Bus services.Accommodation options vary; candidates are often assisted with apartment finders or local hotel arrangements.Please note that therapy animals are not allowed in the facility.If you are a compassionate and skilled LPN looking for a fulfilling role in a long-term care setting, we encourage you to apply.
