CNA PositionEvenings, 2:00pm- 10:00pm- Rehabilitation and Skilled NursingAre you looking for a team focused and energizing role in a skilled nursing facility and rehab center? Then Hartsfield Village's CNA position may be what you are looking for! The CNA provides basic patient care. CNA practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Powers Health policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of Powers Health.Job ResponsibilitiesProvides basic care to patients under the guidelines set forth according to policies and procedures.Answers call lights, telephones, and/or respond to patient requests; acts on routine requests and/or relays information to proper personnel.Serves patient food trays, snacks, and/or nourishmentAssists with patient mobility, (i.e., lifts, positions patient in bed, transfer between wheelchair and bed, and between cart and bed)Assists with patient ambulation as directed.Assists in preparing patient transfer and/or discharge.Maintains a safe, clean, and aseptic environment in assigned work areas.Education/ExperienceExcellent verbal and written skills.Education equivalent to high school diploma or GED.Completion of a certified nurse assistant training course and examination.Over 1 year of CNA work experience preferred.Current valid State certification is required.Maintains current CPR Certification.Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform required competencies within allotted time periods.Comprehensive Benefits Program (Not all inclusive)Medical, dental and vision coverageHealthcare and Dependent Care Spending AccountsRetirement savings planLife insurance and disability coverage optionsFitness center discount programTuition assistance and career developmentPaid Time OffWellness, reward and recognition programsEmployee Assistance Program – Counseling, nutritional and financial education, etc.Perks - Instant Discounts & Exclusive Deals on hotels, food, clothing, etc.Hartsfield Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that celebrates the full continuum of life and promotes successful aging.
