CNA Days Pediatric Complex Medical Care (Full Time)

nJoin our compassionate team in our inpatient Pediatric Complex Medical program, where we provide around-the-clock care in a warm, family-centered environment. We support infants through age 14 who are unable to live at home due to their complex medical need, helping each child thrive in a safe and caring setting.
nSchedule
nnn3 shifts per week, 6:00am-6:30pm, every 4th weekend
n
nnBenefit eligible, including medical, dental, vision plans, retirement with company match and generous PTO accrual, including 16 hours of PTO front-loaded

n nHow You’ll Make an Impact
nnnAssist with daily care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while honoring each child’s privacy and dignity.
n
nnFollow individualized care plans and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure each child’s unique needs are met.
n
nnHelp children look and feel their best by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for scheduled activities.
n
nnSupport families by sharing updates and reinforcing care techniques that promote each child’s progress and well-being.
n
nnAccurately document care provided and maintain compliance with ChildServe policies and professional standards.
n
n nWhat You’ll Need
nnnActive DIA certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa.
n
nnCertified Medication Aid preferred
n
nnMust obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 90 days and before working independently.
n
nnAbility to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
n
nnAbility to read, write, and speak the English language .
