nRESPONSIBILITIES:
nnnAssist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility
n
nnSafely transfer, transport, and reposition residents using appropriate equipment and techniques
n
nnObtain and record vital signs and weights as directed
n
nnMaintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times
n
nnAssist with admissions, discharges, and restorative nursing activities
n
nnObserve and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
n
nnMaintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas
n
nnFollow infection control practices, safety procedures, and facility policies
n
nnCollaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality resident care
n
nnPerform additional duties within the CNA scope of practice as assigned
n
n nREQUIREMENTS:
nnnHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred
n
nnValid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification required
n
nnExperience working in a skilled nursing facility or with a geriatric population preferred
n
nnStrong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
n
nnCompassionate, resident-centered approach to care
n
nnAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
n
