Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS:3rd Shift: $2.25/hourWeekend: $1.75/hourSIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE!$2,000 Sign On Bonus with a 1-year work commitment.Must be of legal age to sign a contract, which is at least 18 years old, to be eligible for a sign on bonus. Candidates under 18 years old may still be considered for the position but are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.Position SummaryThe Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:-Licenses/Certifications: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant-Other Licenses/Certifications: CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLSPreferred Qualifications:-Education: High School Diploma or GED-Experience: Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patientsOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
