CNA Position at Vivo Healthcare UniversityWe at Vivo Healthcare University are looking for qualified and dedicated CNA's to join our team. CNA's are to help our patients with their daily care needs, under the supervision of our nurses.Responsibilities Include:Grooming and bathing patients with low mobilityPreparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needsHelping patients eat and take medicationsMaking sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosagesMonitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staffAssisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bedTurning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfortExcellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy and compassionEffective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehensionGood collaboration and teamwork skillsFast and adaptive problem-solving abilitiesKeen attention to detailIn-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulationsFamiliarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditionsComfortable working with specific populations of patients, including elderly patients and those with special needsPhysical strength and stamina
