Job description
CNA PositionGood Shepherd Hospice is seeking a compassionate candidate for a CNA serving patients and their families in Grove and surrounding communities. The ideal candidate must be passionate about providing quality care and excellent service to patients and their families.Previous experience in hospice, home health, or geriatrics preferred.ResponsibilitiesThe CNA assists the patient and family in achieving physical and emotional comfort as outlined in the patient's plan of careProvides support services under the supervision of our clinical supervisorsPromotes positive, supportive, respectful communication to patients and their familiesQualificationsCertified by the state of where services are being provided as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide.Minimum of one year of experience in hospice, home health or geriatric care preferred (but not required for the right candidate)Must be of high integrity including maintenance of confidential information including all patient recordsWorks as a team player, following directions and adhering to defined care plansDemonstrated commitment to the hospice philosophy of careCan successfully pass background checksCan successfully pass background checks & drug screen
