While DAH primarily serves residents living in communities managed by the Discovery Senior Living family of companies, its services extend beyond these communities. nResponsibilities:
nnAssist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
nProvide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a positive and friendly environment
nAdminister medications, as directed by healthcare professionals
nAssist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
nPrepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences
nPerform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
nAccompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, as needed
nMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
n n** Requirements ** :
nn40 Hr Certificate, Active HHA 75 hour certificate, CNA license (Required)
nPrevious experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
nMust have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
nMust have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
nMust have a current CPR certification.
nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
nBasic computer skill proficiency. Ability to use Microsoft Windows
n n_ Background Screening Requirement: Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements.
