Salary: $10-$15 / per hour
nMaxim Healthcare in Savannah, GA is hiring for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in the home setting. As a team member of Maxim, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact, while providing safe and patient-centered care.
nPosition Description:
nThe Home Health Aide (HHA) is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist. The HHA performs various personal care services, as necessary, to meet the patient’s needs. The HHA provides service in accordance with Maxim’s philosophy, standards and policies.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
nnnObserves and documents patient condition and reports any changes, to the assigned nurse supervisor.

nnCommunicates in a constant, clear, and effective way with the client, family/caregiver and office
n
nnSuccessful completion of Maxim’s Competency Program
n
nnPractices within scope of certificate/license
n
nnMust follow patients plan of care and complete all tasks assigned
n
nnAdherence to Maxim’s policies and procedures, documentation, care procedures, and standards of personal and professional boundaries and conduct
n
nnAbility to live by Maxim’s company-wide commitment to quality and competent patient care
n
nnResponsible for completing all assigned trainings in a timely manner
n
nnPerforms any other duties as assigned
n
n nMinimum Requirements:
nnnMeets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable
n
nnAbility to read, follow written instructions and document care given
n
nnPossess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation
n
nnPPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnSuccessful completion of Maxim screening examinations
n
nnParticipation and completion of Maxim’s competency program
n
nnMust meet all federal, state, and local requirements
n
nnProficiency in the English language required
n
nnExcellent communication skills
n
nnTechnological proficiency including mobile devices for documentation
n
