nAbout the Role:
nJoin Abounding Care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Home Health and Hospice, where you will provide compassionate care to patients in the comfort of their homes. This role is perfect for dedicated individuals who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life for those in need.
nResponsibilities:
nAssist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
nMonitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
nProvide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
nAdminister medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with care plans.
nMaintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
nDocument patient care services and maintain accurate records.
nCollaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
nParticipate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
nRequirements:
nCurrent Texas CNA certification is required.
nPrevious experience in home health or hospice care preferred.
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
nCompassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
nReliable transportation, current auto insurance and a valid driver's license.
nBasic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.
nFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
