If your answer is yes, then we have the perfect job for you!CNA Hospice Aide / Certified Nursing AssistantJob SummaryThe hospice aide is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort. The hospice aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting observations, and documenting care performed. Join our team and contribute to the quality, continuity, and safety of patient care.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, and changing bed linenAssist with dressing and undressing patientsPlan and prepare nutritious mealsTake and record vital signsProvide proper care and observation of patient's skinReport on patient's condition and significant changesAssist in ambulation and exerciseOffer and assist with bedpans and urinalsPerform range of motion and other simple proceduresKeep patient's living area clean and orderlyAdhere to documentation and care proceduresParticipate in quality assessment performance improvement teamsJob RequirementsSuccessful completion of a state-established or other training programMeets the training requirements of the StateAt least 18 years of ageAbility to read and follow written instructionsUnderstanding of hospice philosophySatisfactory references from previous employersSelf-directing with the ability to work with little supervisionEmpathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail, and impairedCurrent CPR certificationGood oral and written communication skillsGood organizational skillsIf you are a talented and compassionate CNA Hospice Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant seeking an immediate opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, apply now!
