CNA Opportunity at Corewell HealthResource role to provide coverage.Job SummaryAs a member of the nursing team with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You'll be responsible for the care of our patients according to their individual plans, unit routines, and hospital policies. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.Essential FunctionsProvides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit.Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.Documents care provided as directed in a manner consistent with guidelines.Maintains patients' environment/work area/equipment and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel.Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours.Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentState of Michigan approved CNA Training CourseDriver's License within the State of MichiganNursing Assistant – Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems upon hireAbout Corewell HealthAs a team member at Corewell Health, you will play an essential role in delivering personalized health care to our patients, members, and our communities.
