Job description
$979.20/week -
Job Summary:
Provides personal nursing care to patients under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse (RN). Assists with activities of daily living and supports patient comfort and safety throughout their stay.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with essential self-care activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and grooming.
Take and record vital signs including pulse and blood pressure.
Help with patient mobility, positioning, and the use of restraints when necessary.
Support patients with nutrition, hydration, and elimination needs.
Perform clerical duties like documenting patient reports and updating records accurately.
Communicate patient conditions and concerns to the RN for proper assessment and intervention.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.
Valid nursing license in the state of practice preferred or required based on specific job parameters.
Minimum of two years recent experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills necessary for patient care.
