Job description
CNA I | Certified Nursing Assistant - Night Shift
Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing essential patient care during night shifts. This role involves assisting patients with daily activities, observing and reporting any changes in their condition, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked patient environment.
Perform basic patient care tasks, monitor and report abnormal occurrences, maintain supplies for the unit, and support the multidisciplinary team with flexibility and a positive attitude. The position requires physical stamina including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and turning patients. Exposure to blood and body fluids is possible, so adherence to safety protocols is essential.
Current CNA certification registered with the state registry
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to work variable shifts and accept supervision
Knowledge of age-specific patient care considerations
