We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) to join our wonderful team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Overlea! As a CNA-I, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their overall health and well-being, and ensuring their comfort and dignity. Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
Assist with medication administration, as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Participate in ongoing education and training to improve skills and knowledge

Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant (GNA) preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Maryland
Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with care and precision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
