Job description
CNA I/II - Intensive Care Progressive Care Unit
Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant I or II in the Intensive Care Progressive Care Unit. This role involves providing essential patient care, observing and reporting any changes in patient conditions, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked patient environment. You will perform various duties assigned by the care team, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work schedules and tasks.
Education
Must hold current certification as a Nursing Assistant and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Experience
Basic knowledge of age-specific patient care considerations is required. Ability to work variable shifts and perform physical tasks such as turning and lifting patients is essential.
Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to accept supervision from a multidisciplinary team
Basic computer skills
Visual and auditory acuity to observe patients effectively
Willingness to work in an environment with potential exposure to blood and body fluids
