n Certified Nursing Assistant Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the care plan of each resident based on established nursing care procedures and at the direction of supervisor. CNA also ensures resident's needs are maintained with highest degree of dignity. The primary responsibility of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services following the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care and assisted living facilities. You are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
nProviding for the continuous care and comfort of assigned residents
nFeeding residents and accounting for their daily intake of food and liquids
nAssisting residents with their daily grooming and hygienic needs, including bathing, dressing and using the toilet
nHelping residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down
nSafely escorting and/or transporting residents to and from their rooms and other areas of the facility.
nFill out and maintain patient records
nOther tasks as assigned
n nJOB TRAINING
nnHow long it usually takes to completely perform this job when the incumbent has the minimum knowledge, skills, ability, work experience and/or education: up to 6 months
n nQualifications
nExperience : At least one year of previous work experience is desired
nEducation : High school diploma or GED
nLicense : Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program
