n nShift Details:
nnMonday-Friday/6:30am-3:00pm
n nNursing Aide Duties & Responsibilities:
nnnCarries out routine tasks and procedures such as Activities of Daily Living.
n
nnMeasures and records temperatures, pulses, respiration, blood pressure, heights, weights, intake and output and others as determined by policy.
n
nnReports observations and pertinent communications with patients to the nurse in a timely manner.
n
nnPrepares patients for meals and assists when indicated. Assists with lifting, positioning, moving, and ambulating patients.
n
nnPrepares patients for transport by wheelchair, stretcher, or on foot as directed by the nurse.
n
nnAssists with patient examinations; for example, physical exam.
n
nnMaintains patient safety, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
n
nnProvides attention to patients requiring constant observation.
n
n nMinimum Qualifications:
nnnCurrent, valid, and unrestrictedNY license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
n
nnMinimum of one (1) year related experience within the last 3 years
n
nnAdditional certifications may be required.
n
nnCopy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
n
nnCopy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
n
