CNA Opportunities at Sapphire Nursing at Meadow HillSapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill, a premier long term skilled nursing facility located in Newburgh, Orange County, New York has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic CNAs for all shifts to become part of our dedicated and professional staff. We are looking for individuals who desire a worthwhile career that has purpose and makes a meaningful difference in someone's life. Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAs give direct nursing care to assigned residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comfort needs. We look forward to meeting with you to discuss professional opportunities at our facility.All shiftsDay shift openEvening shift openNight shift openResponsibilities:Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.Distributes food/water and feeds residents.Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.Ambulates and transports residents.Records and totals fluid intake and output.Weighs residents.Documents on flow sheets.Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.Responds to call lights in a timely manner.Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.Takes and records vital signs.Makes beds and keeps resident's units clean and in order.Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.Requirements:NY CNA CertificationPrior skilled nursing is a plus!Benefits:1199 SEU Benefits PackageCompetitive salarySupplemental insurancePaid time offPensionSign on bonus $600 paid in quarterly installments& more!About Us:Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill considers the health and safety of its residents, family members, and team members as its highest priorities.
