Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Rate: $24.66/hour, after completion of probationary period Shift: Full-Time, Part-Time Schedule: Hiring all shifts!Brookhaven Health Care Facility is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to its team. In this role, you'll provide hands-on care and support to residents while helping promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Join a team where collaboration, respect, and meaningful work are at the heart of what we do.Responsibilities:Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobilitySafely transfer, transport, and reposition residents using appropriate equipment and techniquesObtain and record vital signs and weights as directedMaintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all timesAssist with admissions, discharges, and restorative nursing activitiesObserve and report changes in resident condition to nursing staffMaintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areasFollow infection control practices, safety procedures, and facility policiesCollaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality resident carePerform additional duties within the CNA scope of practice as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredValid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification requiredExperience working in a skilled nursing facility or with a geriatric population preferredStrong communication, customer service, and teamwork skillsCompassionate, resident-centered approach to careAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environmentCommitment to professionalism, safety, and quality careBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving OptionsPreceptor Bonus Program (CNA & LPN)
