PMC has a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, an adult intensive care unit, nationally recognized orthopedic services, a full suite of cardiac care, Center of Excellence-recognized surgeons, imaging, and primary and specialty care.ResponsibilitiesProvides direct patient care based on individual need according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse and within the scope of the practice of the Certified Nursing AssistantCompletes all documentation within departmental requirements and timelines.Responsible for directly observing and assisting patients who are at risk of causing injury to themselves or others.Assumes responsibility for own clinical competence and development.Participates in the responsible management of all healthcare resources.Participates as a contributory member of the interdisciplinary teamProvides direct personal patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse within the scope of practice of the Certified Nursing Assistant.QualificationsJob Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent.Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the State of Idaho.BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Preferred Job Requirements:Experience as a nursing assistant.
