Job description
CNA (Per-Diem, Day/Evening/Night)Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for providing basic patient care under the direct supervision of the nurses responsible for patient care.Provide or assist residents with bathing, feeding, toileting, repositioning, exercises, and other Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to individualized care plans.Support residents with nourishment, fluids, and intake recording; ensure timely response to resident requests.Maintain accurate documentation of care, food/fluid intake, and shift reports while following policies and protocols.Assist in maintaining resident equipment and environment in a clean, safe, and functional manner; report and follow processes for repairs.Completion of NYS approved certified nursing assistant programActive CNA certification within New York StateMinimum age requirement: 18Ability to read, write and speak English, ability to follow verbal and written instructionMedium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.Rochester Regional Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
