CNA- Rehab -PRN

Position Summary:

Assist in care of hospital patients under the direction of nursing and the medical staff. Position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care, and for promoting teamwork among co-workers.

Qualifications

As a CNA, you will play a key role in patient care. You will ensure smooth operations, collaborate with nursing staff, work the members of a team to evaluate patients and impliment patient care within the scope of CNA practice.

Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Current Oklahoma Certified Nurse Aide license.

BLS is required prior to beginning orientation or working on a floor.

Experience preferred.

Basic computer skills required.

De-escalation (TEAM) training completed within 6 months of hire.

Assist with activities of daily living i.e., bathing, skin care, dressing, feeding, ambulating, transporting, and bed changing.

Take and record vital signs and I&O's, apply ice bags, aqua K pads, and specialty appliances.

Complete or review worksheet of assignments for patient care within 30 minutes of shift change.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of patients served in his/her assigned service area.

Obtains and documents vital signs as instructed per policy and nurse.
