Job description
CNA (Residential)The CNA Residential provides direct patient care and support to individuals at the Homestead, a residential behavioral health treatment setting. This role assists with daily activities, monitors patient well-being, and supports a safe and structured treatment environment.Responsibilities:Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and meals.Monitor and document patient behavior, reporting concerns to nursing and clinical staff.Support patients in adhering to their treatment plans.Assist with medication administration under nursing supervision.Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.Skills and Competencies:Commitment to Ava Health's core values of Agency, Service, and Purpose.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate care.Ability to work in a structured residential environment.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Qualifications:Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in (State).Minimum of 1 year of experience in behavioral health or residential care preferred.BLS/CPR certification required.Additional Requirements:Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining licensure and certifications.If in recovery, a minimum of 2 years of sobriety is required.Acceptance of a minimum of 2 shifts per month.
