$16/ hourly
Responsibilities
Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
Develop close relationships with clients while helping with activities of daily living, household tasks, meal preparation, and mobility support.
Assist with activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and meal preparation and feeding.
Assist with range of motion exercises and transfers, including the use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders as needed.
Qualifications
Have at least one year of work experience.
Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
