C.N.A. (Shahbazim for Cottages)The heart of the Green House® elder care model is the Shahbaz (plural: Shahbazim), a universal worker who performs housekeeping, laundry, cooking, and elder care.Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurseAssist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feedingTake and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulseAssist with patient assessments and document findings in medical recordsAdminister medications as directed by healthcare professionalsPerform basic nursing procedures, such as wound care and phlebotomyAssist with patient transfers and ambulationMonitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the healthcare teamMaintain a clean and safe environment for patientsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a nursing assistant training program and certification as a nursing assistantCurrent CPR certificationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a teamExperience working in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferredKnowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems, such as Cerner, is a plusExperience in home care or senior care is desirableNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
