Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation & Nursing Center 189 NY-100, Somers, NY 10589Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hourJob SummaryThe Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a CNA, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents while helping maintain their comfort, dignity, and quality of life. If you are passionate about caring for others and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.Help residents safely transfer, reposition, and ambulate.Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.Measure and record vital signs as assigned.Maintain accurate documentation of resident care.Ensure residents' rooms are clean, safe, and comfortable.Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.Support residents with compassion, respect, and professionalism.Follow all infection control, safety, and facility policies.Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care.QualificationsCurrent New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Reliable, punctual, and dependable.Previous long-term care or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.BenefitsCompetitive pay starting at $25.00 per hourHealth, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees)Paid time off401(k) with employer participation (if applicable)Opportunities for career growth and advancementOngoing training and professional developmentSupportive team environment
