nTaconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Beacon is looking to add a CNA Trainee to its team. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while participating in a Certified Nursing Assistant training program. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and instructors, you'll learn the skills needed to provide compassionate care and support to residents in a skilled nursing environment.

nRESPONSIBILITIES:
nnnParticipate in the facility's Certified Nursing Assistant training program
n
nnObserve and learn resident care techniques, safety procedures, and infection control practices
n
nnAssist with resident care activities as permitted under training program guidelines and supervision
n
nnPractice CNA skills through demonstrations, return demonstrations, and supervised clinical experiences
n
nnCommunicate resident observations and concerns to nursing staff and instructors
n
nnMaintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times
n
nnFollow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection prevention protocols
n
nnAttend all required classes, clinical training sessions, and educational activities
n
nnComplete training assignments, skills evaluations, and competency requirements
n
nnPerform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the training program
n
n nREQUIREMENTS:
nnnHigh School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a high school equivalency program preferred
n
nnInterest in pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant
n
nnAbility to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
n
nnCompassionate, dependable, and eager to learn
n
nnAbility to follow directions and maintain professional conduct
n
nnMust successfully meet all program and facility requirements for participation in CNA training
n
