Certified Nursing AssistantYour employment status and pay will be adjusted accordingly.And Elderwood Covers the Cost.Elderwood will pay for your CNA certification examination and applicable onboarding requirements for eligible candidates, including required PPD testing and physical examination.Training is paid. You'll be clocked in, earning your regular pay while you train.Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, generally 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. for three weeks. Start as a Support Aide, get paid while you train, earn your CNA certification, and take the next step toward a rewarding career in healthcare.Apply today for Elderwood at Ticonderoga's Paid CNA Training Track!What You'll Do as a Support AideTransport residents or accompany ambulatory residents throughout the facility, including to dining, activity, therapy, and treatment areasMake unoccupied resident beds as assignedAssist with dining services, including passing trays, cutting food, and opening containersDistribute supplemental nourishment to residents who do not require feeding assistanceProvide fresh water to resident rooms as directedPrepare resident beds and bed linens for evening and overnight hoursHelp keep assigned nursing units clean, neat, and orderlyClean resident equipment such as wheelchairs, geri chairs, and beds as assignedHelp maintain orderly resident roomsConduct informal activities on the nursing unit when appropriate and as directedObserve residents and report unusual incidents or concerns to the appropriate clinical staffTreat residents with dignity, kindness, and respectFollow all applicable safety, confidentiality, infection control, and compliance policiesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 16 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredEmployment Certificate/Permit required for individuals ages 16–17No findings or convictions related to resident abuse, mistreatment, or misappropriation of property through any current or previous licensing agencyAbility to successfully complete the Nurse Aide Training Program and required certification processThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
