nEssential Functions:
nPerforms personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
nPersonal Hygiene
nCNA required with Hoyer lift experience, safely preform Hoyer lift transfers
nInvolved Transfers
nProvide total care for a bedbound client
nDressing/Shaving
nPrepares meals and snacks according to instructions
nMust be dependable, compassionate, and comfortable providing hands-on care
nPerforms light housekeeping activities
nPerforms patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
nProviding hospice supportive care
nMedication reminders
nAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
nAssisting with blood glucose monitoring
nCare of bed-bound patients
nIncontinence care
nUse lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
nPreferred Experience in:
nHoyer lift
nPersonal care
nRange of Motion Exercises
nFoley care
nCompanionship
nLight cleaning
