CNC Boring Mill Machinist – ProgrammerWe're seeking a CNC Machinist and Programmer who excels at solving complex, one-off challenges. If you thrive on programming multi-axis boring mills, optimizing toolpaths, and producing precision custom components rather than running repetitive production, this role is for you. You'll combine hands-on machining expertise with programming proficiency to deliver high-quality results on large, challenging components.What You'll DoSet up and operate CNC Horizontal or Vertical Boring Mills to precision specificationsCreate, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam CAD/CAM software for boring and multi-axis milling operationsPerform precision milling and boring on large custom components with high accuracy and repeatabilityRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specificationsDetermine optimal tooling, workholding, and machine setups for each unique partMake program edits and machine adjustments to improve efficiency, accuracy, and part qualityTroubleshoot machining and programming issues to maintain productivity and qualityInspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and engineering specificationsFollow all safety and quality standards while meeting production deadlinesWhat We're Looking ForRequired:Proven experience operating CNC Horizontal or Vertical Boring MillsStrong proficiency with Mastercam CAD/CAM software (creating, editing, and optimizing programs for boring and milling)Experience with G-code and/or M-code programming and interpretation for CNC machine controlSolid setup experience machining large, custom, or low-volume componentsAbility to perform boring and multi-axis milling operations on custom, fabricated, and heavy componentsExperience with CNC program troubleshooting and toolpath optimizationStrong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skillsPosition DetailsMonday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM OR 7:00 AM – 5:00 PMOptional Saturday hours: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Overtime paid at 1.5x regular hourly rate)$30–$40/hour (based on experience and skill level)BenefitsHealth Insurance: PPO plan with employer covering 50% of employee premiums; dependent coverage available at shared costDental Insurance: Optional coverage available; employee-paidVision Insurance: Vision plan availableTwo weeks of paid vacation annuallyAnnual holiday bonus based on company performanceEmployer-funded profit-sharing plan with 100% company contribution401(k) plan available after one year of employmentTuition reimbursement for job-related education and professional developmentEmployee discounts through payroll providerHow to ApplySubmit your resume with details about your CNC boring mill experience, Mastercam proficiency, and examples of complex custom work you've programmed and machined.Equal Opportunity Employer.
