CNC Horizontal Mill MachinistWe are seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist to join our client's dynamic team in De Pere, WI. If you have a passion for precision machining and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC horizontal milling machines to produce high-quality components that meet stringent specifications. Be a part of excellence in manufacturing!ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC horizontal milling machines according to specifications and engineering drawings.Produce small order parts in a JOB SHOP environment.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations.Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain quality standards.Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.Proven experience as a CNC machinist, specifically with horizontal milling machines.Proven experience in a JOB SHOP environment where each part is different.Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
