CNC Lathe Machinist IIISimi Valley, CA 93065Job Function: Manufacturing Job Number: Job DescriptionJSG is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist III for a temp to hire, onsite position for our established Aerospace client in Simi Valley. Pay rate: $27-$37 Position Summary: The candidate will be required to set-up, operate, and adjust CNC machines, Lathes and/or Mills. Work from drawings and written instructions to create parts. May need to make offsets to programs on CNC Machines.Job Responsibilities:5+ years experience operating CNC Lathes and/or MillsResponsible for all phases of part operations, maintains part conformance per sketch and drawing requirementsPerform and maintain accurate in-process quality inspection and recordsIdentify and recommend process improvements that reduce part quality variationInput data into visual management forms and convey results to managementContinuously improve processes, procedures, and eliminate wasteSkilled in the use of indicator, gage, dial bores, and plate inspection methods for first article and in-process inspection of precision machined partsAbility to maintain close tolerances (within.0003"), hold.0003 profile, roundnessIdeal candidate will have experience with AS9100, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma Per ITAR requirements, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder)Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
