Job description
CNC Lathe OperatorWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our high-tech machining facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality of the machined parts, interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with the production team to maintain a smooth workflow. Routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety protocols are also key aspects of this position.Shifts:1st Shift: 6:45AM - 3:15PM (Monday - Friday)2nd Shift: 2:45PM - 11:15PM (Monday - Friday)3rd Shift: 10:45PM - 7:15AM (Sunday - Thursday)Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Operate two or more Miyano ABX or BNX machines that perform a series of machining operations such as turning, drilling, boring, threading & milling to specificationsPrepare and load specified bar stock into bar loaderMonitor machine operation & verify conformance of work piece to specifications using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMM, OASIS, Keyence, & functional gauges)Consistently check parts per inspection instructions; ensure non-conforming parts are controlled per protocolsAdjust part dimensions by making offsets, change inserts, properly center & touch off tools as neededReview and interpret details on process router, scheduling board, part drawings, and inspection instructions.Perform basic trouble-shooting of machine & bar feeder alarmsAdhere to AS9100 quality standards per protocolConsistently clean & maintain machines & related equipment to ensure optimal conditions for successExamine processes & identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
