Job description
Cnc Lathe ProgrammerOur client is a high precision aerospace job shop looking to add a CNC Lathe Programmer to their team. This role supports low volume, high complexity work where accuracy, repeatability, and attention to detail are critical. Parts are small, geometrically complex, and require tight tolerance control.This is a hands on programming role that works closely with machining and setup teams in a clean, climate controlled environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and modify CNC lathe programs using MastercamHand edit G and M code at the machine as neededSupport CNC lathe setups, prove outs, and first piece runsWork from blueprints, models, and process documentationCollaborate with machinists to troubleshoot programs and processesSupport continuous improvement in programming and machining methodsEnsure programs meet quality, safety, and efficiency standardsQualificationsMinimum 2 years of Mastercam programming experience requiredExperience programming CNC lathesAbility to hand edit G and M codeBackground in CNC machining strongly preferredAerospace manufacturing experience preferredStrong blueprint reading and GD&T comprehensionDetail oriented mindset with focus on precision and error preventionWhat This Role OffersDirect hire position with a well established, family-owned companyHigh precision, low run aerospace workClean, climate controlled facilityStable workload with skilled and experienced coworkersOpportunities to work closely with machining and engineering teamsCompetitive pay and full benefits package including 401k, PTO, and health coverage
