CNC Programmer LeadThis role represents the opportunity to take on an important leadership position with an innovative high tech industrial engineering and manufacturing company. We continue to offer custom hydraulic systems for virtually any industrial application.Job Role:This position will have a high level of autonomy and responsibility. As the CNC Programmer Lead, you will be responsible for programming our new DMG Mori NHX5500, with a five pallet RPP (arrives in October). We purchased this machine to build custom hydraulic manifolds for our own products and for custom applications. We will also be machining precision components and other complex parts. This position will be responsible for programming the machining for all of our custom machined parts. Qualified candidates must be able to design workholding, select optimal tooling and program efficient tool paths.The goal is to ensure our manufacturing process meets customer requirements and delivers exceptional quality product on time and within budget.Responsibilities:Program and operate our NHX5500 and other machinesUtilize CAM software and CELOS intuitive programmingSetup complex jobs and design workholding and fixturesSelect tooling and workholding and build tool libraryProcurement request for tooling and materialsQuality control and processes for programming and machining operationsEstimate costsIdentify training needsSupervise and motivate a team of workersReport to upper managementRequirements:Attention to detail to ensure high levels of qualityExtensive machining and programming experience (4 axis horizontal)Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulationsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsLeadership experience at a professional manufacturing companyProficient in MS Office and ERP softwareBSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferredPreferred quality systems experiencePreferred LEAN manufacturing experienceWork location is Vancouver, WA
