Job PostingDuties/Responsibilities:Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC production machines and facility equipment according to OEM instruction and production needs.Ability to operate a variety of CNC lathes, mills, Fanuc and other CNC machinery as needed for machine repairs. Handwheel, MDI, and Auto operation.Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, machine geometry alignments, spindle inspection/replacement, ball screw inspection, Bearing preload settings, High Pressure coolant system adjustments, and general component diagnosis and repair.Perform electrical and electronical troubleshooting such as spindle/axis servo tuning, servo amplifier replacement and programing, single and three phase power supplies, low voltage control wiring, overload protection resetting, AC/DC motor inspection and troubleshooting.Set up work with variety of vendors, contractors, and outside technicians, as well with other members of our internal Maintenance departmentRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong background with Fanuc controls, to include parameter changes, system back-ups, grid shifts, pitch error compensation, G and M codes, and the ability to read IO and search Ladder Logic as needed for diagnosis purposes.Ability to read and understand machine maintenance manuals, operation manuals, Fanuc instruction manuals, and associated machine documentation.
