You can see some of our favorite projects here.Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future.Job ResponsibilitiesPrioritize safety as a core principleInterpret work orders and blueprints to determine machining requirementsSet-up and operate multi-axis CNC machining centersEnsuring proper machine adjustmentsMachine of quality parts for window & door manufacturePerform quality workmanship with dimensional accuracyInspect completed parts according to specificationsDocument & report productivity and non-conforming recordsPerform secondary machining operations as neededPerform daily maintenance activities to machines as prescribedMaintain a clean and orderly machines & workstationsParticipate in and contribute to a continuous improvement cultureWork professionally and positively with others to achieve a healthy and cohesive working relationshipAll other duties as assignedQualification/Education RequirementsKnowledge of CNC machining and programming requiredAbility to utilize various machine-shop measuring instruments helpfulAbility to read a tape measure to 1/32" accuracyAppetite for a mechanical job role striving to deliver OEE (Optimal Equipment Effectiveness)Detail-oriented experienceComputer familiarityWork structure organization skillWhat OBE Offers YouBenefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employeeWork-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can chooseCompensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonusesTraining – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed
