Job description
CNC Machine OperatorPay: $24-27/hr. (depending on experience level) + 15% shift differentialShift: Mon-Thu (3:30pm to 2am) - Must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeksDescription:The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for running the cutting system that can cut up to 10" thick carbon steel plate and up to 6 1/4" thick stainless steel plate with gantry-type machining center capabilities. The 360-degree contour beveling capabilities lets us cut bevels in steel, aluminum, and many other alloy metals.Requirements:1+ years of experience operating cutting equipment in a metal shop with a laser, waterjet, and/or plasma tableAbility to work in a safe, cautious manner, exercising care and concern for the people, equipment, and productKnowledge of large material handlingCompetency in being able to prioritize, make decisions, follow instructions, recognize and adhere to standards of qualityWork independently or with others; demonstrating responsible behavior and attention to detailAbility to perform preventive maintenance measures to ensure safety of equipment and work environmentKnowledge of crane rigging experience with large parts is a huge plus (the overhead crane system has a max lifting capability of 50 tons with 31' height)Ability to read and work off of blueprintsStrong math skillsWho this job is for:If you like working on one-of-a-kind pieces and enjoy interesting challenges, join our shop and use your creativity to provide quality products for our customers.Benefits:Heath / Dental / Vision InsuranceLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-term and Long-term Disability401k with company match (40% of the dollar up to the first 6%)Accident and Critical Illness optionsHealth Savings AccountEmployee Assistance ProgramPTO9 paid Holidays
