Job description
2nd Shift CNC OperatorWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, monitoring production quality, performing basic machine adjustments, and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining a safe work environment.Schedule:2nd Shift: (Insert Hours)Overtime may be required based on production needsResponsibilities:Operate CNC lathes, mills, or other CNC machines according to work instructions and production schedulesLoad and unload raw materials and finished partsRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawingsMeasure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instrumentsPerform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specificationsMake minor machine offsets and adjustments as neededComplete production and quality documentation accuratelyMaintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standardsFollow all company safety policies and proceduresCommunicate production concerns, quality issues, or equipment problems to supervisorsQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredAbility to read measuring tools and perform basic math calculationsAbility to read blueprints is a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable attendance and ability to work independentlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shiftPreferred Skills:Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centersKnowledge of G-code and CNC programming basicsExperience using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipmentFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles$ /hr.#2069WI
