We're committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone's empowered to be their best.A CNC Machine Operator uses different measuring tools to make sure products meet customer expectations, and is able to set up and run CNC equipment independently once trained.2nd or 3rd Shift CNC Machine OperatorEssential Functions, Knowledge and CompetenciesAbility to lift 50 lbs.Math skills (decimals, fractions)Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more), frequent bending and twistingMust be able to read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawingsMust understand the proper use of and limitations of standard inspection measuring and test equipmentMust have vision correctable to 20/20Ability to distinguish colorBasic computer skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsMust be available for all shiftsAble to efficiently operate and setup CNC / Manual machining equipmentCan perform routine machine setups, make tool and programming adjustments, and perform minor troubleshootingGood documentation skills and on target with attendance and dependabilityResponsibilitiesResponsible for alerting immediate supervisor of any problems in processResponsible for handling parts to prevent damageAuthorized to stop the process upon the detection of a nonconformance or safety issueResponsible for maintaining a neat and orderly work areaResponsible for maintaining machines and toolingResponsible for producing quality product and meeting production standardsResponsible for completing in-process inspection documentation per established requirementsTrain employees as neededBenefits eligible on day 17% shift premium2nd shift 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday3rd shift 10pm - 6am Sunday - ThursdayFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
